The company will promote heat cured rubber (HCR) and liquid silicone rubber (LSR) for electrical and industrial as well as healthcare applications at the Silicone Elastomers World Summit 2015 in Barcelona, on December 9th and 10th. The enhanced custom compounding operation is supported by Bluestar Silicones high performance Masterbatches, a full range of functional and color additives, unique and patented additives and a global technical and manufacturing expertise network.

“We are pleased to announce this expansion into the Europe and EMEA markets with an enlargement in capacity of custom compounding which represents more than a fifty per cent increase. We would like also to highlight that the new compounding, filtering and packing line incorporates state of the art technology all along the process to ensure product quality and process safety. This line is installed in a dedicated and isolated room with dedicated services and utilities” says Mehdi Abbadi, Global Elastomers Business Director. “Silicone custom compounding is already a core competency for Bluestar Silicones in its plant in Spain and with this new line we will enhance our high performance bases to deliver custom solutions to precisely meet our customers’ local needs.”
