Injection mould cleaning (Reference: Cold Jet)

Injection mould cleaning (Reference: Cold Jet)

Microparticles allow cleaning and surface preparation with more precision, fineness, less air and noise as traditional dry ice pellet systems. With dry ice microparticles the surface gets cleaned faster and more evenly, because it gets hit by more particles at the same time. Less noise compared to pellets or fragmented pellets is going to lead into a better working environment and an increased safety. They eliminate the risk of damages to surfaces, vents, ducts, bridges, high gloss polished forms or ejectors. Also they significantly reduce the consumption of dry ice and compressed air because less power and pressure are needed in the acceleration process. The dry ice cleaning is also the solution for deburring and deflashing plastic parts. The automated systems eliminate the need for manual deburring. The company creates on demand automated cleaning stations within a continuous manufacturing process for applications requiring repetitive dry ice cleaning. In most of the cases only minimal customization is needed to interface a solution into a production environment. The systems reduce costs and meet the high quality standards for cleaning and surface

preparation in the medical device and plastics industries, without using any chemicals or abrasives. The dry ice cleaning systems provide a significant improvement (> 75%) in cleaning time when compared to other similar systems and increase the emissions rate and the quality of the parts.
