Elevast polymer modifiers

MODIFIERS Elevast polymer modifiers (PM) are specialty hydrocarbon fluids that can help formulators create innovative solutions for polyolefin elastomer technical applications requiring improved mechanical properties across an extended range of service temperatures. Engineered to efficiently upgrade key performance attributes and processing, the modifiers do not interfere with ingredients commonly used in elastomer compounds. As a result, they can enable the use of lower peroxide levels which may reduce cost and undesirable residuals. Products manufactured with these modifiers can also benefit from enhanced performance and extended product life, providing opportunities to differentiate products and lengthen operating periods. As well as providing opportunities to elevate product performance, the modifiers can deliver a number of processing benefits. These include improved flow characteristics, higher output, reduced energy consumption, and the ability to process high Mooney-viscosity materials and highly filled compounds. Additionally, several technical challenges such as bloom, bleeding, fogging and iridescence, may be eliminated.
