Plasticizer Ultra-Flex EPO 33, Cobalt Carboxylate

ADDITIVES Behn Meyer Europe will participate at the IRC together with two important suppliers: Performance Additives und Cobond Chemicals. The former, part of the Behn Meyer Group, produces additives for the rubber and plastic industry in Malaysia. With respect to the IRC they focus on Ultra-Flex EPO 33, a palm oil based plasticizer for rubber compounds. First approvals at customers who benefit from good processing with high filled compounds are achieved. The plastizising effect of the additive is about 10 % higher than usual aromatic oils.

Cobond Chemicals from South Africa produces Cobalt Carboxylates, which are adhesion promoters for rubber to metal-bonding, especially to brass-coated steel.
