Inspect the Color Code Accurancy

The Dimensioncontrol TCI 8303.I is the latest component for modern extrusion lines; inspecting color codes applied on running profiles behind the extruder. The system also measures the complete width of the tread, to ensure correct width position of the color code is accurate. The performance of the system helps to reduce waste material compared to manual adjustment of tracks during recipe changings or while starting the extrusion line. Micro-Epsilon say the inspection unit uses a vision system, containing a color camera and two surface light sources. Using continuous measurement, the position and width of respective colors are calculated as an average value in one image. The system detects overflow or interruption of color strips and incorrect colors on defined positions.
