Lithene ultra liquid polybutadienes are a well established range of speciality polymers used to improve processing and enhance performance of many reactive elastomers. With multiple cross-link points, they are able to co-vulcanize in sulphur or peroxide cure compounds and are non-extractable in the final component. Typically providing a harder vulcanizate with increased resistance to oils, better heat aging and improved compression set, they find use in multiple applications, from gaskets and seals to cables, tyres and general rubber goods. The newly launched, Lithene Activ 1000, a highly efficient liquid polybutadiene specifically designed for the elastomer industry, will also be highlighted at the show.
