Tire Technology International Award "Environmental Achievement" goes to Sumitomo Rubber
In recognition of environmental advances in the tire industry Sumitomo Rubber Industries wins the Tirre Technology Awar „Environmental Acheivement“. The Enasave 100 tire replaces synthetic rubber with epoxidised natural rubber and ultra-pure NR, and conventional carbon black with biomass-derived carbon black. In addition to good fuel efficiency, the maker says that it offers enhanced wet-braking performance, ride comfort and durability compared with the earlier Enasave 97.
