One of the most widely used industrial coatings is epoxy surface coatings, which provides excel-lent adhesion and wear resistance when applied to metal surfaces. The erosion behavior of epoxy/ coatings by solid particles impact was investigated.

Introduction Recently, the attempt has begun to find more effective ways to coat the metallic surfaces, and the epoxy is one of the widespread methods in this regard. Epoxy is distinguished of high me-chanical strength, good adhesion, large impact, corrosion resistance, dimensional stability and good thermal stability.
