This present study focused on the preparation of rubber nanocomposites as its unique characteristics has seen it become a global trend. This type of composite is usually a mixture of fillers and a rubber matrix in which at least one dimension of the fillers is in nanoscales. Rubber nanocomposites have been used to prepare various types of nanofillers. Of these nanofillers, halloysite nanotubes (HNT) are an interesting filler that is widely used to reinforce many types of rubbers due to its superior aspect ratios.
