Additive manufacturing of rubber-based parts is a steadily growing branch of research. Depending on the dosage form of the rubber compound (e.g. as granules, as filaments or, as in this case, as a low viscosity paste), there are different options for designing the processing-relevant hardware and developing rubber based compound formulations that can be processed with the respective machine setup.
