The certification of stitched composites for aircraft structure is still problematic due to the lack of dependable unknown manufacturing factors that can considerably influence their performance. In this research, the mechanical properties of specific stitching configuration using multiscale modeling are discussed

Over the past decade, the delamination damages in laminated composite materials have been resolved by three-dimensional (3D) textile composite, caused by substantial interlaminar resistance of plain textile composite. The plain textile fabric consists of weft fibers and warps twisted on to each other [1].
