In this study, the glass fiber and Fe2O3 NPs are used with epoxy matrix to study the effect of weight percent of the glass fiber and Fe2O3 NPs on the Shore hardness number. For this aim, different percents of glass fiber and Fe2O3 NPs ranging from 0.2 to 0.8 wt. % are added to the epoxy matrix in order to prepare the three types of composites used in this study.

Composite materials are consisting of two phases: the matrix, which is continuous and surrounds the other phase, of ten called as reinforcing phase [1].
