Polyvinyl alcohol (PVA)/barium titanate (BaTiO3) nanocomposites were fabricated with various content of BaTiO3 before and after the treatment of BaTiO3 nanoparticles with ionic liquid.

For the time being, the nano-polymeric composites have attracted a lot of scientists because of its wide range of applications in the nanotechnology field of polymeric composites. They are highly dependent on distribution size, accumulation, geometry, and surface chemistry of organic/inorganic nanoparticles, beside the interactions of matrix and nanoparticles [1,2].
