Tire recycling is considered today as a must and waste tire pyrolysis is certainly for the time being one of the main technologies considered to achieve this goal. Many different research teams are working on this technology and in the mean time several plants have been constructed around the world, covering however only a very small fraction of the world waste tire recycling.
